Must Haves for Every Journey with a Toddler
Whether it’s that time of the year where you are travelling with you family for a vacation or you simply have decided to take your little one with you on an urgent trip that you simply cannot avoid, you need to be prepared. Preparing yourself mentally in one thing, but this is not sufficient. You need to be prepared for your journey with the right items so that you can manage the situations that can arise from travelling with a toddler. Toddlers are great to look at as long as they are happy and feeling good. For them to be feeling good they have to be comfortable and fed well. So make sure you are armed with the right ammunition to take on your toddler travels with patience and skill.

Angry People Are Usually Hungry Even When It Comes To Your Little One
Make sure you pack enough baby food for the trip. If your little one is not fed on time and fed well they are bound to become irritated. As it is travelling and being exposed to new situations and surroundings might be somewhat exciting as well as unnerving for them, so don’t make it worse by not feeding them enough. Just because you are travelling you might want to cut back on food to make things easy for your travelling tummy. But when it comes to your little one they don’t know too much about all that. They believe in eating and sleeping regardless of where they are. If you have a choosy little fellow, make sure you pack a variety of their favourites. This way you won’t have to struggle trying to make them eat. You can always give them something that is their favourite and not worry about them not eating.
Changing and Clean Up Should Not Be a Messy Scenario
When you are travelling you will need to make sure your little one gets the right number of nappy changes as they require. Just because you are travelling it does not mean you can allow them to sit through the trip wearing a soggy nappy. This is both unhygienic and dangerous. To make things easy carry plenty of nappies, wipes and also a changing pad. A changing pad is great as you won’t have to worry about the surface you are going to change them on. It is best for your little one and also you won’t make the place messy should an accident happen.
Keep the Little One Warm and Comfortable As Much As Possible
As you travel be it through flights and airports you know you are going to face different temperature changes. You should not have the little one feeling cold and uncomfortable. Make sure you take enough blankets and you won’t be sorry. You can use them to cover the little one and keep them warm, you can use it to lay them down if the need arises and you can use it to cover yourself and prevent burps and slurps from spilling on you.
