When I see quotes like this I wish I could track him down and insert the latest IPCC report where the sun never shines...without the benefit of Fairtrade olive oil!

That quote is actually quite funny, in a way.

I've been asking questions about the science for years - initially because I didn't understand it and wanted to, and latterly becuase the answers I was initially given were so unpersuasive. My consistent experience has been that if you question the scientific support for AGW, the response is that someone questions either your sanity, or your probity, or your intelligence.

I think we can see why, now. It is that these people simply cannot understand the difference between the scientific conclusions and the personal qualities.

It means that they are advocates, not scientists.

Well they can hardly attack the science as there isn't any! The contention that Himalayan Glaciers will/could disappear by 2035 is based upon one telephone conversation back in the 90's. Even by pseudoscience standards it is a bit lacking.
Probably G.W. Bush wandering about with a set of electric fires!(Well he gets blamed for everything else, so it's not fair to leave him out is it?)

I'd be reasonably confident of it being bloody appropriate for his shareholders and investors. If such allegations are borne out. Ahem. Cough...

I've been enjoying DK hound this guy for weeks, the guy sounds rather suspect.

Even my girfriend, who passionately believes in climate change, doesn't think it's appropriate for a businessman to be running the IPCC.
