The utter insanity of this is that so many child victims are are abused by a relative. So giving them nowhere to go out and enjoy themselves, i.e. making them stay at home might not be such a good idea…

And then there is the precedent that is set by not opening somewhere that merely could be used for criminal purposes . What about cinemas? Oooh…. dark…. dangerous – kiddie fiddlers could hide at the back! Sports Centres? Oooh… changing rooms …. oh dear! Scouts? Girlguides? Shopping Centres?

I’ve always been suspicious of schools. They are places where innocent children gather and adults are put in positions of power over them.

That ’s a situation that can only present an ideal opportunity for paedophiles and as such we need to shut all these ’schools’ now before more children get abused!

The passage that really struck me was:

“Staff and parents from St John’s raised concerns at a safety advisory group meeting last week about ‘grooming’ by paedophiles.”

What concerns? What concerns could apply to an ice rink and not every other public place where young children congregate, as pointed out above? It is shocking. Stupid bloody safety advisory group. I’d say the children’s freedoms need protecting from these idiots far more than they genuinely need protecting from paedophiles at an ice rink. Geesh.
