I bet you loads of them are doing jobs that are completely unrelated to running trains - advertising, media, PR etc. My own experience of being in a union has been extremely positive, but I get really angry when they start trying to box above their weight. My own experience of being in a union has been extremely positive, but I get really angry when they start trying to box above their weight. PFI is indeed just a manipulation of government spending and has already racked up a debt of almost £100 billion that we’ll all be paying for many years from now.

On salaries here is a good one 'Transport for London employs 232 people on more than £100,000 per year. The home office employs 43 the treasury seven' Can`t say I object to strikes for pay rises. It doesnot cause inflation , it is inflation. I happily agree that RMT are scum but then so are the Fire brigade and the Police , equally extortionate .
