Did you see Brown greeting Mrs Bush? It was toe-curling. He kind of grabbed her, pushed his grey greasy face against her and she recoiled. Then he went to kiss her a second time and she wasn’t expecting it. I know that Bush hasn’t been the best pres ever, but at least he is a human being.
The “riots” must have kicked off shortly after News 24 showed the protesters as a small rather ineffective crowd – they must have been annoyed and started fighting to get broader coverage.
He really doesn’t have the right skills to be a Prime Minister, whichever way you look at it. To be fair, I’d be horrified if I had to go anywhere near him.
No doubt News 24 were desperate to avoid making Brown look like an idiot, although thankfully some newspapers did report the problems this morning (often minus the rather enlightening pictures).

Ok, fair point, we’re not talking here about 1 million people marching on Downing Street – it was just a few nutters pressed up against the railings, but the photos looked great!
I was invited to the Demo by the student union.
Naturally, I wasn’t keen on associating with the commies, but any doubts were dispelled by the knowledge that there was a good chance I would be beaten up, arrested, DNA taken and given a trumped up charge.
