Recess Monkey is on blogging recess, clearly
Dear Recess Monkey,
What on earth is going on? I thought you were supposed to be one of, if not THE premier left-of-centre blogger that this country has to offer. Recent evidence suggests that your reputation is not thoroughly deserved.
Your last three posts, which took you over a week to write in any case, have all just ended up as lame jokes that no-one finds particularly funny and hardly contributes to political debate. This comes hot on the tails of a post a couple of weeks back where you made a rather teenage-esque comment about the position of an exhaust pipe on a bus advertisement (very incisive analysis – no, really). Just a week earlier, you had made a sick joke about Ming Campbell and Madeleine McCann that was rightly panned by your commenters, myself included. I think humorous posts in the blogosphere are always good to see, but evidently you and I have a very different sense of humour.
Lots of people have noted the relative strength of centre-right bloggers at present, and quite frankly if you’re the best opposition they’ve got it’s no wonder they are always ahead. Maybe you’re just too busy to worry about your site at the moment, or maybe your powers of analysis need recharging – whatever the reason, your blog is suffering a slow and painful demise.
Yours sincerely,
A.Tory

Hilarious of course that the world’s best political blogger ever ran Alex’s back of a bus and MP’s priority finds many hours later and as if he’d invented them himself. Still that’s the mighty right wing blogosphere for you.
Who are you? And what is your relevance?
Strange, because I thought my letter was asking you what your current relevance is?
I used to read your blog a lot, but judging by your comments section over the past few weeks it seems as though I’m not the only one who has noticed that your posts are becoming more infrequent and usually end up as caption competitions rather than contributing to political debate.
Your thoughts?

And what is the relevance of another oppressive leftist posting female facebook profiles in the name of activism? Oh that’s it, it shows how sad Labour have become.
